Product Description
Otterbine Omega floating pond fountain brings a polished, professional look to ponds and lakes while supporting healthier water through active aeration.
Designed as a decorative aeration fountain, this model uses an intricate, arch-like spray display created through an 8-nozzle arrangement. Beyond the visual impact, the moving water helps introduce oxygen and improve circulation, which can support clearer water and reduce the conditions that often contribute to nuisance algae, odors, mosquitoes, and unwanted aquatic plant growth in stagnant areas.
Why choose this fountain style?
- Decorative impact: Creates a detailed, architectural spray pattern that stands out in daylight and adds presence to your water feature.
- Aeration benefits: Continuous surface agitation can help improve gas exchange and overall water movement.
- Shallow-water capability: Can operate in relatively shallow pond depths (refer to your chosen configuration and site conditions).
- Pattern flexibility: Interchangeable spray patterns can let you adjust the look over time to suit the setting.
What to expect during installation
The Otterbine Omega floating pond fountain is typically installed with a control center and requires basic mechanical assembly. For electrical setup, a qualified electrician is recommended so the timer, surge protection, and GFCI functionality are installed correctly and safely for outdoor, waterfront operation. Always follow local codes and manufacturer guidance for placement, anchoring, and cable routing.
Operating notes
Spray height and diameter can vary depending on the selected horsepower and site conditions such as wind exposure. To get the best performance and appearance, plan placement with adequate clearance from shorelines, docks, and landscaping.
If you’re looking for a fountain that balances premium aesthetics with practical aeration, the Otterbine Omega floating pond fountain is a strong fit for many residential and commercial water features.
How to order
- Horsepower & power: choose the size you want and the electrical service at your site: voltage, and single- or three-phase. Otterbine's 230V motors are rated 208–230V, except the 5 HP single-phase motor, which is 230V only. If you're not sure what power you have, ask your electrician or call us.
- Control panel: choose Light Ready if you plan to add Otterbine Fountain Glo lights, now or later. Otherwise choose Standard.
- Cord length: measure from where the Power Control Center will mount, along the cable route, out to where the fountain will float, and add slack. Only lengths Otterbine allows for your motor are offered, and the cable gauge is matched for you. Need a longer run? Call us.
5-year warranty: Otterbine's 5-year warranty on a new fountain requires the power cable to be purchased together with the motor, float and pattern. That's why every configuration here includes its cable.
FAQ
