This deicer are designed to prevent the formation of damaging ice around docks and boats. Thousand of these units are being used in marinas, harbors, waterfront developments and recreational ponds to prevent costly ice damage.
Kasco deicers are perfectly manufactured to prevent the formation ice around docks and boats. This product is normally used in harbors, waterfront developments and recreational ponds to prevent costly ice damage. Deicers come complete with power cord and two 20' suspension ropes.
Time and temperature control – Kasco deicers control system can help you save money through a well controlled electrical usage! The controller (C20) is designed only for Kasco and will only activate when both the timer and thermostat are on. Regular timers usually run the motor every day during a set time. This controller only operates when the temperature demands for it! A temperature only controller (C10) is likewise available and it operates the motor whenever there is a freezing conditions.
Kasco deicers can also be used with the optional floatation kits (KFK). These kits allows you to create horizontal circulations. These circulators are normally used for deicing applications but it has also been proven to be effective during summer time to prevent stagnant water.
Used in marinas, bays or cove of lakes, irregular shaped ponds and other similar applications; these circulators are a cost effective way to improve water quality. A 1/2 HP circulator can effectively circulate water in a one acre pond twelve feet deep! Circulators are an ideal choice for shallow bodies of water where diffused air systems usually don't work.
25' power cords standard on 115v deicers and circulators, 230v units have 50' cord. Subtract the cost of the existing cord from the longer cord cost to find your increased cost for a longer length cord
