This unit can aerate up to 6 acres if you have the correct depths. At 10 CFM this is a powerful compressor that will get the job done. It is a rotary vane compressor and is sure to have a long life. When you need pond aeration for 2 big ponds this is the least expensive and yet most effective way to go. You can't beat diffused aeration when it comes to bringing life and oxygen to your pond. We recommend the rotary vane compressors over piston type compressor on all ponds that are less than 18' deep.

Living Water Aeration pond aerators are efficient, affordable and safe systems for circulating and adding oxygen to large volumes of water.  Our pond aeration systems are guaranteed to increase oxygen levels in your pond, destratify, prevent oxygen depletion and fish kills. Aeration is also a highly effective way to contorl unwanted algae blooms and weed infestations. There is absolutley no electricity in the water, our pond aeration systems are safe for any type of water recreation.

Each package includes our deluxe locking cabinet complete with air compressor and a cooling fan already installed. Safety and installation:
This aeration system comes with 600 feet of 1/2" weighted tubing, making it easy to install: The tubing will sink by itself to the bottom of the pond without the need of any additional weight making it invisible to the eye. It will also decrease the chances of the airline being snagged by fishing lines or swimmers. Because there is no electricity in the pond, this diffused aeration system is completely safe for people or wildlife near and in the water.

Maintenance:
The only maintenance needed being the replacement of the vanes when needed. Repair kits are available on our website (click here for more information) at a very affordable price (a noticeable and sudden drop in air bubbles after a few years of operation is a sure sign that the vanes need to be replaced).

Be sure to clean the inlet air filter on your compressor regularly. Wash dirty air filters in soapy water.

What does it cost in electric roughly to run this unit every year? I have a 5-6 acre wetland pond that ranges from 2' to 8' deep but would like to stock fish in it. There is a creek that feeds the pond and the pond only exist because of a huge beaver dam. I am wanting to put fish in there but with our winters ice can get 3' foot thick and I think the fish would just die off. Would this keep the water open and oxygen rich to substain Fish?
To run this 24/7 you would probably be looking at $50 - $60 per month ballpark for electrical cost. This unit will also act as a de-icer in the winter time, you will have nice sized holes in the ice above each diffuser.
