We recommend the rotary vane compressors above the piston compressors
on all ponds 18' deep or less. Rotary vane compressors are not high pressure like the piston compressors, however they offer high volumes of air at medium pressure. They are always recommended over the piston compressors because they are a low maintenance pump and tend to have longer life spans than the piston compressors.
