Otterbine Power Cable - # 12/3 - per ft.

If you have already chosen your dream Otterbine fountain, the only thing you need to have your dream fountain is a power cable. As they are priced without a cable, you need to buy it separately.

If you want to use another manufacturer’s power cable, you technically can. However, it is not recommended, as it might work for a while, but how long will that be? Also, do you think it will be safe? Not really.

All Otterbine cables are made out of thermoset. If you are wondering what it is, it’s a special rubber material that hardens when directly exposed to heat. However, once it is set, it won’t become soft again, even under direct exposure to heat.

Because of the material used to produce them, the Otterbine cables are resistant to abrasion, sunlight, ozone, oil, and chemicals, as well as water submersible and flame retardant. They have been specifically designed for outdoor and industrial purposes.

The power cables are available in a variety of types. The Otterbines cables are the SOOW type. The only exceptions are the Fractional/Light 12/3 & Light 16/2 cables, which are the SJOOW type.
