Otterbine Giant Fountain Power Cable 4/4 - per ft.

Every Otterbine fountain is priced without a power cable, which means that you have to buy it separately. Each fountain has to be ordered with at least 50' power cable and in 25' increments.

All Otterbine cables are made out of Thermoset, which is a material that hardens if put under direct application of heat, also called curing. Once it sets, it cannot be re-softened by heating.

If you were wondering if you can use a cable from another manufacturer, the answer is yes, but it is not recommended. So why should the Otterbine power cable be the one used with the fountain? There are two main reasons for that:

• Safety - you wouldn't really want an inferior power cable in the water that is delivering 115v-460v through a highly-conductive element, would you? It's not safe, and you probably don't want to be accountable if anything happens
• Performance - if proper power will not be delivered to the aerator, there's a possibility of the equipment malfunctioning, failing prematurely or not operating at all
