This 1/3 hp rocking piston compressor kit is similar to the 1/4 hp
rotary vane kit (PA50) only this unit is capable of much greater
operating depths. While the rotary vane unit will operate to a depth of
18', this compressor will pump air over 40' deep! ideal for deep-water
aeration. If your pond is 19’ deep or more this unit is
recommended. The rotary vane kits is recommended if your pond is
18’ or less. This continuous duty, long lasting motor is
designed for the demanding job of deep aeration and when properly
protected from the weather, will last for years.

* Please note when selecting your aerator that the greater the depth of
your pond, the less CFM(Cubic Feet per Minute) of air required to
adequately aerate the pond.
